BPA supports deep-energy retrofit of Concordia campus buildings

Bouthillette Parizeau et Associés (BPA) will provide mechanical, electrical, and structural services for the deep-energy retrofit of around 80 buildings at Concordia University's campuses in Montreal. The initiative, part of the university’s PLAN/NET ZERØ, starts with upgrading the Guy-De Maisonneuve Building to improve lighting and HVAC systems. The goal is to reduce energy consumption by up to 50% and achieve various sustainability certifications. Johnson Controls will manage the project over a two-year design and construction period followed by a 10-year operation and maintenance phase.
