Ontario investing $11M to upgrade recreation infrastructure in Niagara Region

The Government of Ontario is investing $11.1 million to upgrade sport and recreation facilities in the Niagara Region, including a major renovation of the Chippawa Willoughby Memorial Arena. These upgrades, part of the $200 million Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund, aim to create jobs and promote healthy living. The project includes constructing a new NHL-sized rink, a modern library, and energy-efficient improvements at the YMCA of Niagara. Additional funding supports the refurbishment of the Niagara Olympic Club's track and field facilities.

Ces améliorations, qui s'inscrivent dans le cadre du Fonds pour l'infrastructure sportive et récréative communautaire de 200 millions de dollars, visent à créer des emplois et à promouvoir un mode de vie sain.
