Construction to protect Chignecto Isthmus from floods ‘several years’ away: minister

Nova Scotia's public works minister, Fred Tilley, announced that it will be several years before construction begins on a project to protect the Chignecto Isthmus from flooding. The province is currently working on pre-engineering studies and consultations with New Brunswick to upgrade this crucial land link. This project is a part of infrastructure efforts to safeguard against rising flood risks.
