Toronto receives $67M through second round of Building Faster Fund

The Ontario government is providing the City of Toronto with over $67 million as part of the second round of funding from the Building Faster Fund. This allocation is awarded to municipalities that have achieved at least 80% of their housing targets set by the province. In 2024, Toronto initiated construction on 20,999 new homes.
