Premchai Karnasuta, the president of Italian-Thai Development Co, along with builders, designers, and engineers, has surrendered to the police on charges of criminal negligence. This follows the collapse of a high-rise building in Bangkok during the earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28. The charges allege that their negligence contributed to the disaster which resulted in casualties.
