La MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges confirme le site du futur Centre régional de compostage

The MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges has finalized a site in Coteau-du-Lac for the establishment of a new regional composting center. The project aims to process 24,000 tonnes of organic waste annually, cutting down on transportation costs and greenhouse gas emissions, with an estimated investment of $34 million. This initiative will serve both environmental and community needs, promoting sustainable waste management practices. The center is set to begin operations by spring 2028, with a community information session scheduled to involve local stakeholders.
