The Quebec government has announced a substantial investment to support municipal infrastructure projects in the Beauharnois area through the TECQ 2024-2028 program. A total of $346,412 has been allocated to fund infrastructure improvements in smaller municipalities, such as Saint-Étienne-de-Beauharnois, Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka, and Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague. This investment is part of a broader 3.2 billion dollar initiative aimed at enhancing municipal buildings and services, with 90 million additional dollars recently added to the fund. The program aims to modernize and secure essential services provided by smaller municipalities.
