Dix ans de valorisation pour l’Écocentre de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

The City of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Écocentre, which has significantly contributed to waste management by diverting over 60,000 tonnes of materials from landfills over the past decade. The site has become a community staple, with visitor numbers increasing consistently over the years, reaching 56,375 in 2024. The Écocentre has expanded its operations, including site enlargement and partnerships for object recovery with local organizations, further enhancing its sustainability efforts.
