Kindred Works Ups Height On Heritage Church Redevelopment To 48 Storeys

Kindred Works has submitted a proposal to redevelop Toronto's historic St. Luke's United Church with a 48-storey mixed-use tower. The project includes over 400 rental units and 15,639 sq. ft of community space, expanding significantly from a previously approved plan for a 12-storey development. While preserving much of the heritage church, the new design embraces contemporary architecture with dedicated spaces for community and institutional use. The plan aims to enhance the public realm with expanded sidewalks and a Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Space.
