Nouveau poste au centre-ville de Montréal | La miséricorde d’Hydro-Québec

Hydro-Québec has decided to relocate its proposed electric power station from near the Grande Bibliothèque to the site of the former Institut des sœurs de la Miséricorde on boulevard René-Lévesque Est in Montreal, following public opposition. This new plan involves constructing an indoor power station connected by underground cables to existing facilities, allowing gradual transition and upgrade of Montreal's power infrastructure. Public consultations will be held to maintain some historical buildings and possibly include housing and community spaces. The project aims to meet energy demands while retaining the urban green space by BAnQ.
