Site Plan Submitted for Don Mills Community Recreation Centre in Crosstown Community

The City of Toronto is moving forward with plans for the Don Mills Community Recreation Centre in the Crosstown Community, a masterplanned district. Designed by MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects, this two-story civic hub will offer a variety of facilities including pools, ice arenas, a gymnasium, and community rooms. The centre, set to open in 2029, will also include a public park and improved transit and cycling access. The project is part of a larger redevelopment plan involving several high-rise buildings in the area.

La ville de Toronto avance avec ses plans pour le centre de loisirs communautaire Don Mills dans la communauté de Crosstown, un quartier aménagé. Conçu par MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects, ce centre de deux étages comprendra des piscines, des patinoires, un gymnase et des salles communautaires. Prévu pour ouvrir en 2029, le centre inclura également un parc public ainsi qu'un meilleur accès aux transports en commun et aux pistes cyclables. Le projet s'inscrit dans un plan de réaménagement plus large avec plusieurs immeubles de grande hauteur dans la région.
