Companies like Trigo Energies and Matrix Energy are leading the implementation of solar air heating systems for both new constructions and retrofits, benefiting from favorable subsidies. These systems are increasingly used in industrial buildings to reduce natural gas consumption and enhance energy efficiency.

The new La Pêche Town Hall in Quebec is set to become the first Passive House-certified institutional building in the province. Designed by BGLA architecture + urban design, the mass timber structure leverages passive solar principles, using natural solar gain as a primary heating source and achieving a significant 85% energy savings.
