Cowichan district hospital project raising the bar on sustainability targets

The Cowichan District Replacement Hospital in British Columbia will be the first all-electric hospital in the province and the first in Canada to receive Zero-Carbon Building Design certification from the Canada Green Building Council. This certification recognizes the hospital's use of sustainable building materials, such as low carbon concrete and mass timber.
