Quebec government begins repair work on the Turcotte Bridge in Sorel-Tracy

The Quebec government has commenced repair work on the Turcotte Bridge in Sorel-Tracy, investing $19.9 million to enhance its safety and longevity. The project includes repairing components, updating safety devices, and making electrical and asphalt improvements. These repairs aim to lift current restrictions and allow all vehicle types access while maintaining a balance between road transport and river navigation. During the two-year construction, temporary lane reductions and closures will be in place to ensure safety.
