3 workers killed and 2 injured when scaffolding gives way at Texas construction site

In Port Arthur, Texas, a scaffolding collapse at a construction site resulted in the deaths of three workers and injuries to two others. The incident occurred at the Port Arthur LNG site and involved employees of Bechtel. Responders from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene following the industrial accident. The cause of the scaffolding failure is under investigation.
