Peel Region has received $16.1 million from Ontario's Ministry of Infrastructure for the expansion of Mayfield Road from two to six lanes, improving road infrastructure to support growth and housing development in Brampton and Caledon. The project, funded through the Housing-Enabling Core Servicing Fund, includes stormwater upgrades, new traffic signals, and enhanced transit and pedestrian facilities. It is expected to alleviate congestion, support future housing growth, and be completed by the end of 2026.

La région de Peel a reçu 16,1 millions de dollars du ministère de l'Infrastructure de l'Ontario pour l'élargissement de la route Mayfield, de deux à six voies, afin d'améliorer l'infrastructure routière et de soutenir la croissance et le développement du logement à Brampton et Caledon. Le projet, financé par le Housing-Enabling Core Servicing Fund, comprend des améliorations de la gestion des eaux pluviales, de nouveaux feux de signalisation et des installations pour les piétons et les transports en commun.
