A committee of 24 key stakeholders from the construction industry in Quebec, coordinated by the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ), has convened to develop a Guide of Best Practices for the surveillance of building construction work in Quebec. The initiative, led by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ), aims to create a uniform inspection model to enhance construction quality. This effort aligns with a law requiring construction project inspections at critical stages to ensure compliance with construction codes. The development of this guide is part of a broader strategy to improve construction standards and public safety in Quebec.
