The City of Edmonton has commenced major construction on the Capital Line South LRT Extension, a 4.5-kilometer project aimed at improving transit connections throughout the city. The project has received $365 million in funding from Alberta's government and will generate over 3,500 jobs. The extension will include two new stations and two bridges, with construction expected to last four to five years. Ledcor Group, along with AECOM, is leading the design and build of the first phase, which focuses on enhancing public transport infrastructure.
