Construction begins on CHEO children’s treatment centre in Ottawa

Construction has begun on the new CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre in Ottawa, a state-of-the-art facility aimed at providing coordinated care for children and youth with complex medical needs. This groundbreaking project, part of a C$220 million fundraising effort, will consolidate services across eight locations under one roof, serving approximately 13,700 children and their families. The centre, built by EllisDon Infrastructure OCH Inc. and connected to CHEO hospital, is expected to enhance pediatric care through on-site rehabilitation and support services, with completion scheduled for 2028.
