BentallGreenOak has submitted a revised proposal for the redevelopment of 100 Simcoe Street, Toronto, that increases the building height to 67 storeys from 62. The new design, by Hariri Pontarini Architects, eliminates office space in favor of residential use due to declining market demand for office spaces. It will provide 1,003 rental units, including increased affordable housing options, and maintain some heritage elements of the existing site. The location is strategically positioned in downtown Toronto, near key transport links.
