The government of Québec has invested $4.5 million to support the Quebec Center for Aluminium Research and Development (CQRDA). This funding is aimed at boosting innovation by implementing new technologies in aluminum production and processing plants. The initiative is intended to help Québec maintain its competitive edge in the aluminum industry by improving productivity through automation and advanced digital technologies. The CQRDA will work alongside companies to develop innovative projects, supporting over 30,000 jobs in the sector.
