Quebec updates government roadmap for infrastructure data modeling

The Société québécoise des infrastructures and the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable, along with six major public contractors in Quebec, have updated the Government roadmap for BIM (Building Information Modeling). Since its launch in 2021, the roadmap has facilitated a digital transformation in Quebec's public infrastructure, increasing the number of projects using BIM from 77 to 265. The roadmap sets ambitious targets for BIM adoption, promotes collaboration in the industry, and aims to enhance productivity and optimize investments. The update also identifies support for SMEs and interoperability as key future initiatives.
