Canada and Ontario invest in public transit infrastructure for North Bay residents

The City of North Bay is set to enhance its public transit system with a $20.6 million investment from federal, provincial, and city funds. This funding will replace eight conventional buses with hybrid models, upgrade sidewalks, the transit terminal, and the fare collection system. La ville de North Bay va moderniser son réseau de transport public grâce à un investissement de 20,6 millions de dollars des gouvernements fédéral, provincial et municipal. Ce financement permettra de remplacer huit bus conventionnels par des modèles hybrides et d'améliorer les infrastructures piétonnes, le terminal de transit et le système de billetterie. Ce projet vise à sécuriser les transports, à diminuer les émissions de carbone et à améliorer la connectivité locale.
