56-Storey Rental Tower with SickKids Facilities Proposed in Church-Wellesley Village

Minto Communities and SickKids have proposed a 56-storey mixed-use rental tower in Toronto’s Church-Wellesley Village. Designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects, the development will include rental replacement units and add institutional space for SickKids in its podium. The site is near significant transit infrastructure and includes over 500 bike parking spaces, but no resident parking. The project will require Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments.

Minto Communities et SickKids ont proposé une tour de location polyvalente de 56 étages dans le quartier Church-Wellesley de Toronto. Conçue par Diamond Schmitt Architects, le projet comprendra des unités de remplacement locatif et ajoutera un espace institutionnel pour SickKids dans son podium. Le site est proche de plusieurs lignes de transport en commun importantes et inclut plus de 500 places de stationnement pour vélos, mais aucune pour les résidents. Le projet nécessitera des modifications du Plan officiel et du règlement de zonage.
