Modular steel bridges provide permanent replacement for Lanark County

Acrow has designed and supplied two modular steel bridges to replace the aging Blakeney Bridge in Lanark, Ontario. These modular solutions were chosen for their cost-effectiveness and versatility, with both bridges featuring a custom two-lane roadway width. The project was successfully completed despite delays due to high water levels, and the new structures are expected to enhance accessibility for the area's farmers, residents, and tourists. The bridge was officially opened on June 17, 2025, showcasing a cost-effective and efficient method of construction in a rural setting.
