Russia spins up record-smashing nuclear centrifuge to turbocharge uranium processing

Russia's nuclear corporation, Rosatom, has launched a new tenth-generation gas centrifuge, named HZ-10, for uranium enrichment. The centrifuge is now entering a pilot industrial testing phase before full-scale production. This technology enhancement is expected to significantly boost Rosatom's uranium enrichment capabilities, which already hold a significant share of the global market. TVEL, a division of Rosatom, highlights this milestone as key to modernizing and improving the efficiency of their enrichment plants.
