TC Energy expanding U.S. gas network for Midwest data centres

TC Energy Corp. has approved a $900 million project to expand its natural gas pipeline network, aiming to supply new power plants in the U.S. Midwest that support AI-driven data centers. This project, known as Northwoods, will significantly increase capacity, catering to the rising energy demands. Additionally, TC Energy is also involved in refurbishments at the Bruce Power nuclear plant located in Ontario. This strategic expansion aims to address both regional energy needs and support AI infrastructure growth.

Ce projet, baptisé Northwoods, augmentera considérablement la capacité pour répondre aux besoins croissants en énergie. Parallèlement, TC Energy est également engagée dans des travaux de rénovation à la centrale nucléaire Bruce Power en Ontario.
